Its me again, this time I'm here with a banging peanut butter cookie recipe that I think everyone should try at home. Like I always say, its super easy to make and you only need a few ingredients.
Lets get started...Heres all you need.
2 and 1/4 cups of flour, sifted
135 grams of unsalted butter (softened)
115 grams of creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 a cup of crushed peanuts
Whisk your flour, baking soda and salt, set aside
Measure 125 grams of butter |
Add in 115 grams of peanut butter |
Add in both your sugar and mix on medium speed |
Until creamy |
Add two eggs and mix well |
You can add a teaspoon of any flavoring you'd like |
Mix in your flour mixture |
Next, fold in your crushed nuts. |
Cookie doughhh!!!!!!!!! |
Wrap you dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes |
Next, you line your baking sheet with parchment paper. I ran out of parchment paper so I just greased my baking sheet.
Take out your cookie dough and let it rest on your kicthen counter for about 5 minutes or just until dough is pliable. Roll your dough into small balls and place on baking sheet, then place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 5 minutes. (I forgot to take pictures until the cookies were ready because I was simple baking cookies I prepared 3 days back)
After 5 minutes, take out your baking sheet and flatten the balls with the back of a spoon, just a little tho, you don't make them too flat because they will still spread out in the oven.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12 minutes, rotating your tray halfway through baking time. Let them cool and enjoy.
